Amruta Khanvilkar, the actress currently busy with Dance India Dance, did not
forget to celebrate her Pre-birthday bash with the special kids in Mumbai. Amruta
Khanvilkar visited Pragati Vidyalaya for Mute and Deaf kids on Monday 20th
November 2017 to celebrate her birthday with them. Amruta says, “Yes I started
such kind of celebration from last year, but I am making it my every year ritual. I
always wanted to do something thoughtful on my birthday. Celebrating my birthday
with special kids from the society makes me happy and satisfied.”
The actress began her celebration a day prior, by unwinding with mute and deaf
students at Pragati Vidyalaya in Mumbai. She was surprised after receiving the warm
welcome from the students and the teachers of the school. Students gifted her hand-
made flower bouquet and wish her with ‘Happy Birthday’ song in their unique way of
sign language.

Amruta Khanvilkar, dressed in elegant white cotton kurti, spent some time with kids
at the school. , She also taught them few dance steps and the kids. The actress
looked happy as the kids and teachers showed her some dance moves. Amruta
adds, “I love kids a lot. I love to spend time with them. They give me the energy to
live and I would love to bring a smile on their faces. And I am also excited to see
what Himanshu will gift me.” The birthday girl was showered with lots of birthday
wishes and gifts from her fans at that moment. Talking about the same, she said, “I
am overwhelmed to receive so much of love from this kids and from my fans. I want
to thank all of them for showering so much love on me.”


Amruta will be seen with Alia Bhatt in her upcoming movie ‘Raazi’ directed by
Meghana Gulzaar and she is currently hosting the dance reality show ‘Dance India
Dance’ season sixth. She was also the winner of seventh season of ‘Nach Baliye.’
Looking forward to next year, sure she is going to have a rocking year.
