Talkies is the first to introduce the devotional show on the channel Named  ‘Gajar
Kirtanacha’ and ‘Man Mandira’. With the audience support and love Zee Talkies hit
the milestone of 12 years. On the completion of 12 years Zee Talkies has payed
tribute to the 12 milestones of Marathi Film industry. The father of cinema –
Dadasaheb Phalke, created the first movie ‘Raja Harishchandra’. ‘Prabhat Film
Company’ which was then known as the top film studio in Asia. Evergreen movies
like Pinjra, Ashi Hi Banva Banvi, Dhum Dhadaka will be cherished forever. Directors
like Bhalji Pendharkar, Mahesh Kothare added a different angle to the Marathi
cinema. They bought good content along with good cinematography and Mahesh
Kothare was the first to involve Sci-Fci, 3D and Dolby digital in Marathi Movies.
Actors like Dada Kondke, Ranjanat Deshmukh gave a bigger contribution the
industry with their phenomenal acting. Movies like ‘Shwas’, has won the National
Award for the Best movie after 40 years of ‘Shyam chi Aai’ being Awarded at the
National Level. The movie ‘Shwas’ was even nominated for the Oscar. ‘Sairat’ is the
first Marathi movie to enter the 100 crores club. The amazing duo Ajay-Atul, are first
Indian music director to record their music at a studio in Hollywood for Marathi movie
Sairat. On the 12 th  anniversary of Zee Talkies, the channel highlighted the
