Authentic Kushti is a form of wrestling we rarely get to see. But this sport is at the centre of Nitin Madhukar Rokade’s Taleem which will have its World Television Premiere on
February 25 at 12 PM and 7 PM pm only on Zee Talkies. Hated and betrayed, Taleem is the
tale of an underdog wrestler who makes a comeback against all odds.

Taleem follows the story of wrestler Bhau (Abhijeet Shwetchandra) who is obsessed with
the idea of winning the highest honour – the Maharashtra Kesari, and has been training for it all his life. Just when he is ready to match his wits and strength with real champions, he falls in love with Laxmi (Vaishali Dabhade), the lead dancer of a tamasha troop. His main rival Jaisingh (Prashant Mohite) takes advantage of the situation and the tables turn.

Taleem is directed by Nitin Madhukar Rokade who is a well-known editor in Bollywood and
will put across all the pros and cons of the ancient sport of Kushti. To find out what happens to the Pride and Heart of Maharashtra, watch ‘Taleem’ on Sunday 25 th February 2018 at 12 noon and 7PM only on Zee Talkies!
