“Bholi Surat Dil Ke Khote” the popular hummable song from the 1951 Albela movie, made by the producer, director and the unconventional hero, Bhagwan dada, was a super huge hit.

Picturised on the dancing super star of Indian Cinema and the evergreen Geeta Bali this song has been reinterpreted now sixty years hence in “Ekk Albela” a Marathi biopic on Bhagwan Dada directed by Shekhar Sartandel starring Mangesh Desai and and Vidya Balan in a cameo as Geeta Bali. C Ramachandra had woven Gujarati folk tune to give shape to this number but the timelessness of this track still continues as it is repackaged by singers Anwesshaa & Vinay Mandke.
