Indian Film Industry
Known for distinctive choreographies, Mansi Aggarwal has directed songs in
over 10 films
She has been published as the youngest choreographer in Femina
• Mansi Aggarwal is “Visharad” in “Kathak (Indian Classical Dance)” whose tryst
with Choreography started at the age of 15 with the establishment of her
dance institute in Delhi.
• Her first film was ‘Gulaal’ by Anurag Kashyap.
• She has also worked on international productions which include an American
Production titled “Hindustan di Kudi”, and a German documentary called
“Judith goes to Bollywood”.
• Her Song “Suno Na sangemarmar” is the only Song ever to be shot inside
“Taj Mahal” premises and was voted the most Romantic song of the year
2014
• Nanak Shah Fakir in which she choreographed an Aarti with over 1000
dancers won a National Award (Nargis Dutt Award for National Integration)
• Her next is the Marathi film “Vazandar” produced by Landmarc films and
Rajshri . Sai Tamanhkar and Priya Bapat are leads in the film and its
directed by National Award winning director Sachin Kundalkar.
• She is also working on a high concept music video inspired by
choreographies of “Pina Bausch”
• She has just finished writing her short film script, which she is going to
direct. It’s a sex comedy and a humorous take on modern day
relationships.

actors and directors in their first films
2. Bharat Mata ki Jai has a one-take Antara (stanza). The whole stanza was
shot without any cut.
